Get an instance setting

Retrieves a setting for the specified instance. Use the instance identifier to select the instance and request the setting by its resource name, formatted as instance/settings/{setting}.

The identifier of the instance whose setting you want to retrieve.

200Returns the instance setting resource, including its name and any applicable general, storage, memo-related, tag, notification, AI, or access settings.

General instance settings configuration.

Storage configuration settings for instance attachments.

Memo-related instance settings and policies.

Tag metadata configuration. Active tag metadata is stored in per-user tag settings. This message remains for backward compatibility with existing clients and migrations.

Error handling

The instance path parameter must identify the instance whose setting you want to retrieve. The setting resource name follows the instance/settings/{setting} format.
